I’m Brenna Magliochetti. I am a passionate tennis player, driven honor student and member of the National Honor Society at Bethlehem Catholic High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I am a senior and working through my college search process.
On November 4, 2017, I won the Pennsylvania Singles Championship (PIAA 2A). This has been my personal tennis goal for the last year. In 2016, I was a state finalist in PIAA 2A. I wanted to get back to Hershey, PA and win the title. In 2016, I was named the Morning Call’s Player of the Year.
My goal is to attend a college or university with challenging academic standards and a strong tennis program. I take honors classes and have a 3.98 GPA. I love the competition of not only the tennis court, but the classroom as well. I want to major in international relations or global studies.
I love the sport of tennis. I have been playing since I was seven years old. I enjoy the hard work and preparation required to be a champion. My dream in college is to play for a team that competes for conference and national titles.
My style of play has been described as patiently aggressive. I rally from the baseline with dynamic ground strokes, construct smart points, and close effectively at the net. I also love competing in doubles and being part of a team. In addition to winning a State Championship, one of my greatest thrills of my career has been helping lead my high school to its first District Championship in a decade and back-to-back conference titles.
